Karen Keltz received her law degree in 1985 from the University of Notre Dame where she was a Thomas J. White Scholar. She received her Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Southern Oregon in 1982. Karen began her legal career as a commercial litigator at Freytag LaForce Rubinstein in 1985. In 1994, Karen began her practice as an insurance lawyer. She is the former Chair of the State Bar of Texas Insurance Law Section.
As Senior Counsel with Calabrese Huff, Karen’s practice encompasses a variety of family law matters including: divorce, paternity matters, custody, child support, complex property division, pre-marital and post-marital agreements, grandparent access and termination of parental rights. The firm also specializes in collaborative law, adoption and assisted reproductive technology (gestational arrangements).
Karen is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association. She is licensed in all Texas federal courts, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
